On Thursday, June 27, 2019, the students, staff and families of St. Margaret School celebrated the last day of school with Mass at the parish. Fr. Vincent thanked everyone for the good they had done during the school year and asked that they continue to pray over the summer. During his homily, Fr. Vincent explained that God wants us to have fun! So he encouraged the students to enjoy their well deserved summer break and asked them to do unto others as they would have done unto them.
At the end of Mass, Sra. Davies, the school's principal, expressed the school's appreciation for Fr. Vincent and the parish and the partnership that is shared between the two. She also let the students know that they are the gift and blessing in her life and echoed Fr. Vincent's well wishes for the summer. Much gratitude goes to Sr. Gutierrez, Sr. Almendros, and their grade six classes who hosted the year-end Mass. Their faith leadership was inspirational.
Thank you, St. Margaret School community,
for your support of our mission in sharing and living the Catholic faith!
