On Wednesday, March 28, 2018, the students, staff, and many parents from St. Margaret School celebrated a Mass at Canadian Martyrs Church to give reverence to the significance of Holy Week and the coming of the death and resurrection of Jesus, our Lord. Fr. Vincent spoke to the students about why Jesus was crucified and explained that many were jealous of Jesus and His growing number of followers. Fr. Vincent reminded the students that each one of them has many gifts and is precious and special in the eyes of God. While each student is different, each is also loved in the same way by God. Fr. Vincent encouraged everyone to look beyond what others have and to not be jealous; rather, he asked that they choose to share the unique talents that God has granted each individual.
The parish wishes to thank the dedication of the host teachers and and their classes, as well as all those who assisted with this Holy Week Mass.
Many blessings to the community of St. Margaret School!
