We are truly humbled by the generous contributions of our parishioners.
Countless volunteer hours have been dedicated to create a truly memorable Mass and delightful banquet. Parishioners from past years came together with those who presently make Canadian Martyrs Church their home to express gratitude for our many blessings.
During the celebrations, Bishop Mc Grattan expressed that a parish is a blessing and a part of our life. Fr. Kennedy spoke of the history of the parish, and Fr. Vincent echoed the words of Monseigneur Le Fort when he had spoken at the 10 Anniversary celebration:
This morning we truly rejoice and our hearts are filled with gratitude for the multitude of blessings that have been bestowed on our parish. We look back over those ten years … [and] through it all the families of Canadian Martyrs formed a strong community of faithful and loyal people that work together in a most remarkable manner…
Words cannot possibly express the gratitude for all that has gone into making the 50th Anniversary of Canadian Martyrs Parish a remarkable celebration.
